Q4 2022 Recap: 1 parolee from Kendall County convicted of crimes against persons set for release

There was one offender convicted of a crime against a person living in Kendall County released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Kendall County Times.

The data shows the released offender was a woman. She was convicted in 2019 when she was 19 years old. She is now 23.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
