City of Yorkville City Council met April 9.

Mayor Purcell called the meeting to order at 7: 02 p.m. and led the Council in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Mayor Purcell entertained a motion to approve a Resolution Approving an Intergovernmental Agreement Between the United City of Yorkville and Yorkville Community Unit School District No. 115 ( Well No. 10 Site). So moved by Alderman Tarulis; seconded by Alderman Plocher.

Settlement Agreement

City Administrator Olson reported that there is a memo within the packet that explains the history ofthe matter in brief detail. The insurance company is paying out the settlement, and the City has no financial responsibility for the cost; therefore, the city does not have to vote on the matter. Due to it being a public document and for transparency purposes, this was added to the agenda as an informational item.
