Illinois announces free fishing days for June 14-17

The 2024 Illinois Free Fishing Days celebration is scheduled for June 14–17, coinciding with Father’s Day weekend. During this four-day event, anglers can fish without purchasing a fishing license, salmon stamp, or inland trout stamp. This initiative aims to encourage people to discover the enjoyment of fishing and provide an opportunity for families to introduce their children to outdoor activities.
