1. Call To Order

1.01 Roll Call

The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by President Emily Conquest. Roll call was answered as indicated. Others present were: Dr. Kris Monn, Rachel Kinder, Dr. Tiffany Staab, Dr. Sarah Massey, Matt Shackley, Janet Salazar, Christine Kraft and Lori Shanholtzer.

Moved by Shainberg, seconded by Blount to approve the agenda as presented.

Motion Carried.

2. Public Comments and Recognition

2.01 IESA Track Recognition

IESA Track Team was recognized by the Board. No one from the team was able to attend.

2.02 Public Comments from the Employees and Public

none

3. Consent Agenda

Moved by Shainberg, seconded by Tonelli to approve the list of bills, Treasurer's report, minutes from the May 20, 2024 regular meeting, destruction of the closed session recordings from June 2022, personnel report, 2024-2025 board meeting dates, and FOIA requests as presented. Aye: Shainberg, Tonelli, Blount, Cronin, Monson, Satorius, Conquest

Motion Approved.

4. Action Items

4.01 2024-2028 Minooka Elementary Support Professionals IEA/NEA Bargaining Agreement

Moved by Blount, seconded by Monson to approve the 2024-2028 Minooka Elementary Support Professionals IEA/NEA Bargaining Agreement as presented.

Aye: Blount, Monson, Cronin, Satorius, Shainberg, Tonelli, Conquest

Motion Approved.

4.02 Approval of Just Schools Services Agreement for 2024-2025

Moved by Blount, seconded by Shainberg to approve the Just Schools Services Agreement for 2024-2025 as presented.

Aye: Blount, Shainberg, Cronin, Satorius, Tonelli, Conquest

Nay: Monson

Motion Approved.

5. Discussion and Information Items

5.01 Preliminary FY25 Budget

Director of Finance & Operations/CSBO Mary Robinson presented the Preliminary FY25 Budget with the Board. Detailed information can be located in the electronic board packet on the website.

5.02 Preliminary Staffing/Class Size Outlook

Director of Human Resources Sarah Massey presented the Preliminary Staffing/Class Size

Outlook with the Board. Detailed information can be located in the electronic board packet on the website.

6. COMMUNICATION

6.01 Board Topics

Board President Emily Conquest and the Board recognized Dr. Kris Monn for his dedicated service to Minooka 201 and wished him well on his new position as IASBO Executive Director.

6.02 Administrative Reports

Dr. Kris Monn reported:

Bill 3606 was approved and it will allow funds to districts for students that have high needs instead of having to send students out of the district.

Bill 4582 was approved and it will allow funds to districts that have PRE-K buildings instead of having to go to a referendum to provide buildings.

Dr. Tiffany Staab reported:

• Updated the board on Summer Programs in the district.

• Updated the board on Sports Physical Clinic.

Dr. Sarah Massey reported:

• Updated the board on staffing positions open.

• Updated the board on the early phases of the transportation union process.

Mary reported:

• Updated the board on summer maintenance projects

• Updated the board on the Minooka Baseball Association wanting to build their own storage unit.
