State Representative Jed Davis of Yorkville has been appointed to seven committees in the Illinois House for the 104th General Assembly. The committees include Appropriations: General Services, Appropriations: Health and Human Services, Adoption and Child Welfare, Energy and Environment, Judiciary – Civil, Labor and Commerce, and Mental Health.

“It is an honor to serve on seven critical committees for the 104th General Assembly,” said Rep. Davis. “These appointments provide opportunities for me to focus on fiscal responsibility, protecting our most vulnerable, and helping families and seniors in our communities.”

Davis brings extensive experience from his work as a civil engineer in the private sector where he managed public improvement projects such as roadways and water systems. He is also known as a small business owner and foster parent.

Rep. Davis expressed his commitment by stating, “My professional and personal experiences will help me make the best decisions for the people of our state as I serve on these committees. I look forward to continuing my work to put the citizens of Illinois first by promoting common-sense reform and pushing back on radical policies.”

He aims to uphold family values, protect freedoms, and serve with integrity for those in the 75th District.
