Homeschool Act faces opposition ahead of committee hearing

More than 33,000 witness slips have been filed against HB 2827, the Homeschool Act, which is set for a hearing in the Education Policy Committee on March 19 at the Illinois State Capitol. The bill has faced criticism for imposing what some see as unnecessary mandates on homeschool families in Illinois.
