On Wednesday, Feb. 26, former Yorkville High School standout Lorenzo Rios’ current college team, the Rice Owls, lost 11-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Arizona Wildcats.

The game took place at Reckling Park. This was their first matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 11:05 a.m. at Daikin Park against Mississippi State Bulldogs.
