City of Sandwich Finance Committee met June 2.
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
Alderwoman Erickson called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm.
Roll Call:
Present: Alderwoman Karsta Erickson and Alderwoman Genelle Inman
Also Present: City Administrator Geoff Penman and EMA Coordinator Tony Eberle
Absent: Alderman Fred Kreinbrink
Review of Semi-Monthly Bills ran on 5/29/25:
Alderwoman Erickson had questions and left a message for Brian Voelkel about the purchase of paint from First Place Rental. Wondering if we can get a better price locally. Approving the bill but would like to find a cheaper price if possible.
Pulling bill for $581.93 for Erik Favala for meal & hotel reimbursement. Would like documentation from Chief Senne.
Unfinished Business
Minutes from March 3rd, April 7th, April 21st and May 5th 2025, no action taken as minutes are not available.
New Business
Approval of Minutes from May 19th 2025. Motion for approval made by Alderwoman Inman and seconded by Alderwoman Erickson. Motion passed by unanimous vote.
Alderwoman Erickson wanted to discuss some of the things on the Lauterbach and Amen, LLP contract, it was decided to discuss during the COW meeting that night as it was on the agenda. Alderwoman Erickson would also like to discuss paying the utilities and recurring monthly bills on time so we do not have late fees. We also need to let all our Superintendents know that we need more information on the purchase orders as to what the purchase of items are for, a more detailed description provided.

Authorization to pass bills onto City Council for approval:
A motion to forward the adjusted bills to Council for approval as presented in the amount of $159,276.89. - Motion made by Alderwoman Inman and seconded by Alderwoman Erickson motion passed by voice vote.

No further business, motion to adjourn made by Alderwoman Inman and seconded by Alderwoman Erickson at 6:37 PM. Motion carried by unanimous vote.
