Kendall County Forest Preserve District Finance Committee met June 26.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

I. Call to Order

Chairman Wormley called the meeting to order at 4:05 pm in the Kendall County Historic Court House - Third Floor Courtroom.

II. Roll Call

   Bachmann

   DeBolt

   Flowers

   Gengler

   Rodriguez

Commissioners Kellogg, Peterson, Shanley and Wormley were all present.

III. Approval of Agenda

Commissioner Shanley made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. Seconded by Commissioner Peterson. Aye, all. Opposed, none.

IV. Public Comments

No public comments were offered from citizens present.

V. Motion to Forward Claims to Commission for Approval

Commissioner Shanley made a motion to forward claims to Commission. Seconded by Commissioner Peterson. Aye, all. Opposed, none.

VI. Review of Financial Statements for the Period Ending May 31, 2025

Executive Advisor Guritz presented the District's preliminary financial statements through May 31, 2025 and indicated that finances are on track and that May 2025 financials will be out soon.

VII. OLD BUSINESS

A. MOTION: Approval to Forward Easement Agreement #25-07-001 with Ohio Valley Acquisition LLC to Commission for Approval

Commissioner Wormley suggested considering about the damage impact of productivity in the agreement.

Committee provided direction to release the bond 2 years after work is completed.

Commissioner Shanley made a motion to forward the Easement Agreement #25-07-001 with Ohio Valley Acquisition LLC to Commission.

VIII. NEW BUSINESS

A. Review of a Proposal from Jay Heap & Associates, Ltd. to Complete a Restricted Property Appraisal for the Dobson Lane - Tract 2 Parcel

Committee provided direction to pay half of the appraisal cost to complete the work.

B. Resubmission of an IEPA Section 319 Grant Application to Complete Removal of the Breached Dam at Little Rock Creek Forest Preserve

Committee provided direction to move forward with the application

C. FY26 Budget Guidelines and Development Timeline

Finance Committee Meeting Adjourned at 6:26 pm due to Power Outage

IX. Other Items of Business

A. Subat Nature Center Project Updates - Change Orders Pending

B. Yorkville Bristol Sanitary District – WastewaterTreatment Operator IGA Progress Report

X. Executive Session

None.

XI. Adjournment
