Temporary outdoor food and liquor sales allowed in Yorkville

The community of Yorkville approved an ordinance last month that would give bars and restaurants permission to sell food and liquor at outdoor locations, including parking lots and closed-off streets.

More than 800 Village of Montgomery residents apply for water bill assistance

The village of Montgomery has offered to pay up to $100 on the utility bills mailed April 1 to its 9,000 water customers. By April 13, more than 800 customers had replied and requested the assistance.
