Analysis: Yorkville pays $6.15 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Bristol-Kendall Firefighter's Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 86 percent of the $84,278 the Bristol-Kendall Firefighter's Pension Fund brought in last year, or $6.15 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kendall County Times analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Yorkville contributed $72,506 to the fund, which saw a $2,049 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $11,772, or 14 percent, in 2016.
