Analysis: Plano pays $1.25 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Plano Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 55.7 percent of the $509,552 the Plano Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $1.25 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kendall County Times analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Plano contributed $284,041 to the fund, which saw a $82,917 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $225,511, or 44.3 percent, in 2016.
