Analysis: Yorkville pays $3.24 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Yorkville Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 76.4 percent of the $945,676 the Yorkville Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $3.24 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Kendall County Times analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Yorkville contributed $722,940 to the fund, which saw a $107,272 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $222,736, or 23.6 percent, in 2016.
