The district transferred one students to another program instead of suspending or expelling them.
According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 213 students during the year. That equates to 8.8 percent of the 2,428 students enrolled.
Students were expelled for two incidents with a dangerous firearm weapon.
Of the 157 in-school suspensions, 119 were given to boys and 38 were given to girls, including 73 elementary or middle schoolers and 84 high schoolers.
The district reported that most in-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons. The category includes 132 incidents. There were 12 incidents of violence without physical injury. For 141 incidents, students were suspended for a day or less.
