Aurora (Kendall County) home prices fall in April 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2017 in Aurora in Kendall County fell by $35,250 while total sales remained unchanged with eight homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2017, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $198,250 - a 15.1% decrease over the $233,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Aurora in April 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Aurora for 2017 was $8,184. In 2016, the median sales tax was $7,891. This marks an increase of 3.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 4.1%.
