Plano home prices rise in April 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2017 in Plano rose by $9,500 while total sales increased by 11.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2017, there were 19 homes sold, with a median sale price of $151,000 - a 6.7% increase over the $141,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 17 homes sold in Plano in April 2016.

The median sales tax in Plano for 2017 was $4,817. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,581. This marks an increase of 5.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.2%.
