Kendall County Forest Preserve District Planning and Advisory Committee met July 28.
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
I. Call to Order
Committee Chair Prochaska called the Planning and Advisory Committee meeting to order at 6:01 pm in the east wing conference room of the Kendall County Historic Courthouse.
II. Roll Call
Committee members Clementi, Gilmour, Cullick, Gryder, Krahn, Prochaska, and Vick were all present.
III. Approval of Agenda
Committee member Gryder made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. Seconded by Committee Member Cullick. All, aye. Opposed, none.
IV. Update on Completion of Open Meetings Act Online Training
Committee Chair Prochaska reminded the Committee members present that the Open Meetings Act online training needs to be completed by all Committee Members. Director Guritz reported that the training had been completed by all with the exception of the two new appointees. Committee Chair Prochaska reported that member Clementi had completed the training recently as part of her appointment to the County's zoning committee.

OLD BUSINESS
VI. Review and Discussion of Revised Preliminary Recommendations
• Trail System and Habitat Corridors
• High-Quality Water Resources and Soil Erosion Control Projects
Director Guritz presented an overview of the revised preliminary recommendations for trail systems, habitat corridors, water resources, and soil erosion control projects.
Direction was received to generate a GIS exhibit based on Countywide plans for regional trails and the Fox River Water Trail.

Overview of Kendall County Forest Preserve District Education Services - 5-Year Plan Recommendations
Education Program Manager, Emily Shanahan, and Natural Beginnings Preschool Manager Stefanie Wiencke presented an overview of the 5-year plan for the District's education services.
VIII. Education Services - Discussion of Preliminary Recommendations
The Planning and Advisory Committee discussed preliminary recommendations of education services.
IX. Other Items of Business
The Planning and Advisory Committee discussed COVID-19 related changes.
