Tuesday, Feb. 25: Plainfield South High School standout Griffin Acevedo’s college team loses to UIC Flames

On Tuesday, Feb. 25, former Plainfield South High School standout Griffin Acevedo’s current college team, the North Park Vikings, lost 12-2 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the UIC Flames.

The game took place at Les Miller Field at Curtis Granderson Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Flames this season.

The Vikings’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 10 a.m. at Grizzlies Ballpark against Webster Gorloks.
