Oxford Central Fire Protection District responded to 15 calls in 2017 - 21.1 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.
The calls in Oxford included 14 fires - four structure fires, one vehicle fire and nine other fires.
In all, the department saw $17,000 in fire loss - or about $1,214 per fire.
The department also received one false call.
