The lottery application is now available and will be open until 2 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2018. Please visit the front page of the District 202 website, or any of the district’s 17 elementary school sites to apply.
The actual lottery will be held on Friday, September 21st, 2018. Applicants will be notified of their status no later than Monday, September 24th.
All District 202 families are eligible to apply regardless of their address. However, families chosen through the lottery who live outside the Crystal Lawns attendance area must provide their own transportation.
KEY POINTS
***All students must be five years old on or before September 1, 2018, to attend kindergarten, per state law.
The lottery application will be accessible until 2 p.m. September 21, 2018.
Each family can complete only one lottery application. Families with multiple kindergarten students will complete one application including the names of all prospective students. This application will create individual lottery entries for each child.
Families without Internet access may register online at their child’s homeschool on any regular school day from 10 a.m. Monday, September 17th to 1 p.m. September 21, 2018.
Families will apply for the lottery with the intention of them attending Crystal Lawns Elementary School.
The actual lottery will be held on September 21, 2018, and all applicants will be notified whether their child has been accepted or put on the waiting list no later than Monday, September 24, 2018
Students chosen for this program must complete the registration process and pay $100 October tuition by Friday, September 28th or they will lose their slot.
Full-day kindergarten tuition will be $100 per month in addition to the one-time $90 kindergarten registration fee. The $100 monthly tuition will help offset the cost of the additional staff and resources needed to offer the full-day kindergarten program.
