Plano Community Unit School District 88 issued the following announcement on Dec. 2.
Plano High School “Student of the Month” for the month of November were Payton Heiden, Karla Valle, Ronald Johnson, Myia DeBolt, Eliyas Peray, Sarai Dominguez, Jorge Rizo, and Josh Benite. Students are nominated for Pride behavior, Personal Responsibility, Respect, Involved Academically, Demonstrates safe behavior, and Excellence in what they do.
Staff members for “Staff Member of the Month” for November were Mr. Ponx, Mr. Woodhouse, Mr. Love, Mrs. Minard, Ms. Gomez, Mr. Kantorski, Mrs. Adelmann, Mrs. Wells, and Ms. Franks.Staff members are nominated by going above and beyond what is expected. Staff and student members for the month process is coordinated by Courtney Voise, school counselor at Plano High School. This process is part of the Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) in place at Plano High School.
