Oswego Community Unit School District 308 issued the following announcement on April 9.
Oswego Community Unit School District 308 Board of Education has approved Ethan Buege as the assistant principal of Long Beach Elementary School at its March 16, 2020 board meeting.
Buege replaced Mr. Gonzalez, previous assistant principal, for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year. Mr. Buege received his bachelor’s degree from Millikin University as well as a masters of social work from Loyola University, masters of arts and teaching, secondary education, from National Louis University, and masters of administrative leadership, from North Central College.
Director of Elementary Education Lindsay Allen spoke of the importance of having someone with Buege’s well-rounded knowledge in providing a supportive and diverse learning community for the staff and students of the Long Beach Community.
“I am honored to be joining the staff at Long Beach Elementary School,” said Ethan, “and believe that a strong, supportive system between the home and school is essential to the growth and development of our students.”
