Aux Sable Middle School issued the following announcement on April 18.
District 202 schools are CLOSED through the end of the school year, per Gov. Pritzker's order issued on April 17, 2020. District 202 students will continue to engage in Remote Learning until further notice. Families will be updated as soon as possible about how this latest extension of the closure will affect students.
"Remote Learning" started April 6th. Please help ensure your student is ready to participate as best as possible. Remember, Remote Learning does not necessarily require a computer. Please work with teachers for help.

The Spanish Community Center in Joliet is also hosting a food pantry every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its office, 309 N Eastern Ave, Joliet. Just bring an ID of any kind (student ID/state ID/Daybreak Shelter ID, etc).
