AUX SABLE MIDDLE SCHOOL: School Schedule Changes Effective Oct. 20th

Scheduletime

Aux Sable Middle School issued the following announcement on Oct. 14.

On October 13, 2020, District administration updated the Board of Education about our plans for Remote Learning and transitioning to in-person hybrid learning as soon as it is safe to do so.

That plan includes some slight changes to student learning schedules starting October 20th.

Generally speaking:

Middle and high school schedules will start an hour earlier at 8 a.m. Click here for the new MS schedule and HS schedule

Morning Preschool and Specialized Programs will start at 8:30 a.m.; Afternoon Specialized Programs will start at 11 a.m.; and Afternoon Preschool will start at 12:30 p.m.

Elementary school will still start at 9 a.m.

First through 12th graders will continue Remote Learning until further notice

School office hours will remain the same

***Schedules may be slightly different for each building. Schools will send more detailed information to their families.

These changes will help us keep our schedule to under five hours of in-person instruction, so that we do not have to serve lunches to students at school (however, students will still have access to “To Go” breakfast and lunch to take home.)

Finally, there will be no Zoom classes on Monday, October 19th, which is a School Improvement Day.

Thank you as always for your patience and understanding.
