AUX SABLE MIDDLE SCHOOL: D. 202 MS Musicians To Participate “Virtually” In ILMEA District Festival

Aux Sable Middle School issued the following announcement on Nov. 6.

Twenty-eight District 202 middle school student musicians will take part virtually in the Illinois Music Educators Association (ILMEA) district event this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The annual ILMEA district in-person festivals will be replaced a master class event on November 14, 2020.

These District 202 students will participate:

Aux Sable Middle School:

Band

Kamryn Cook, seventh grade – Percussion

Katelyn Cook, seventh grade – French Horn

Jacob Schmidt, eighth grade – Tuba

Shane Young, eighth grade – Baritone

Choir

Mila Aloisio, seventh grade – Alto

Drauden Point Middle School:

Band

Allison Sefcovic, eighth grade – French Horn

Heritage Grove Middle School:

Band

Amber Bills, seventh grade – Flute

Brayden Blain, eighth grade – Trombone

Ethan Clark, eighth grade, – French Horn

Indian Trail Middle School:

Brianna Murphy, eighth grade – Soprano

Ira Jones Middle School:

Isabella Pedroza, eighth grade – Bb Clarinet
