Q4 2021 Recap: 1 parolee from Kendall County convicted of crimes involving weapons set for release

There was one offender convicted of a crime involving one or more weapons living in Kendall County released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2021, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Kendall County Times.

The data shows the released offender was a man. He was convicted in 2021 when he was 24 years old. He is now 25.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
