The majority of students in Kendall County district's were white in the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of the 26,317 students attending Kendall County district schools, 53.5% were white. Hispanic students were the second largest ethnicity, making up 27% of Kendall County's districts students.

In the previous school year, white students were the most common group in Kendall County districts, representing 55.2% of the student body.

Oswego Community Unit School District 308 had the most diverse student body in the Kendall County, including American Indian, Asian, African American, Hispanic, Pacific Islander, Multi-racial, and white.
