Kendall County Board of Review met Sept. 5.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The Board of Review meeting was called to order on September 5, 2023, at 1:00 pm. Members present at the meeting were Pam Gegenheimer, Gary Popp and Andy Nicoletti, Clerk. David Zielke was absent.

Motion to approve agenda by Gary Popp and seconded by Pam Gegenheimer, motion carried.

No public comments.

Motion to approve the minutes from August 22, 2023, by Gary Popp and seconded by Pam Gegenheimer, motion carried.

Signed Certificates of Error.

Signed Requests for change.

Reviewed the Postage Report. Mailed 2 pieces of mail at a cost of $7.26

Reviewed the Budget Report. Have used 54.8% of the budget.

Received a letter to intervene from the Oswego School District, with regard application Advocate Health & Hospitals Corp for Total Exempt status. Motion to reconsider the approval of the application by Gary Popp and seconded by Pam Gegenheimer, motion carried. Board of Review considered the letter submitted by Brittanty Flaherty Theis, from Whitt Law. Motion to change recommendation to deny by Gary Popp and seconded by Pam Gegenheimer, motion carried. Information to be forwarded to the Department of Revenue. Motion by Gary Popp and seconded by Pam Gegenheimer, motion carried.

Discussed 2023 Publication. Assessments are scheduled to be published on September 21, 2023.

Next meeting scheduled are for September 26, 2023 at 1:00 pm.

Motion to adjourn by Gary Popp and seconded by Pam, Gegenheimer, motion carried.
