Oswego Community Unit School District 308 had the highest enrollment among Kendall County districts, welcoming 16,797 students during the 2022-23 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51.3% of them were boys, 48.6% were girls, and 0.1% identified themselves as non-binary or did not specify their gender.

The most represented ethnicity among Oswego Community Unit School District 308 students was white, comprising 49.6% of the student population.

Among the six districts in Kendall County, Yorkville Community Unit School District 115 ranked second in enrollment numbers with 6,833 students, while Plano Community Unit School District 88 welcomed 2,430 students and ranked third in the 2022-23 school year.
