Kendall County schools welcomed 29,073 students in the 2022-23 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

This is an increase of 0.6% over the previous school year, when there were 28,897 students enrolled in the county.

Kendall County had the 10th highest enrollment numbers in the state.

Of all the students welcomed at the time, 51.1% identified as male, and 48.9% as female.

The most represented ethnicity among Kendall County students was white, making up about 51.5% of all the students.

Within Kendall County, Oswego High School had the highest enrollment in the school year, welcoming 2,866 students.
