1. Call To Order

1.01 Roll Call

The meeting was called to order at 6:09 p.m. by President Emily Conquest. Roll call was answered as indicated. Others present were: Rachel Kinder, Sarah Massey, Mary Robinson, Adrianne McKerrow, Erika Martinez, V.P. Trinh, Brian McElmeel and Lori Shanholtzer.

Moved by Blount, seconded by McGowan to approve the agenda as presented.

3. Consent Agenda

Moved by Monson, seconded by Tonelli to approve the list of bills, Treasurer's report, minutes from the June 16, 2025 regular board meeting, destruction of the closed session recordings from July 2023, personnel report, FOIA requests, disposal of surplus property, adoption of PRESS Policy Revisions - Issue 119, E-Learning Plan to Regional Office of Education and semi-annual closed minutes review as presented.

4. Action Items

4.01 Approval of publication of the 2025-2026 Budget in Tentative Form and setting the public hearing for September 15, 2025

Moved by Tonelli, seconded by McGowan to approve the publication of the 2025-2026 Budget in Tentative Form and setting the public hearing for September 15, 2025 as presented. Aye: Tonelli, McGowan, Blount, Monson, Conquest

Motion Approved.

5. Discussion and Information Items

5.01 Facility Assessment Update

Architects V.P. Trinh and Brian McElmeel from Arcon Associates shared the facility assessment report of all buildings that they prepared for the district.

6. COMMUNICATION

6.01 Board Topics

• Board President Emily Conquest shared the committee member chairs: Education Committee will be Adam Shainberg and Katherine Tonelli Policy Committee will be Jennifer Monson and Thomas McGowan Finance Committee will be Ed Cronin and Stephen Blount

6.02 Administrative Reports

Rachel Kinder, Superintendent reported:

• Update the Board and public on the new ParentSquare parent app

• Transportation is finalizing routes

• Teacher Institute will be on August 11, 2025 at all of the schools

• Reported that 309 returning students have not registered yet and secretaries will be making phone calls to parents

• We will be looking into have a Kindergarten Registration Night starting the next school year

Sarah Massey, Director of Human Resources reported:

• We have hired a Spanish Teacher

• Shared the updated student update enrollment report

Aaron Souza, Director of Informational Technology reported:

• Technology Staff has been checking in all new computers

• Technology Staff helped with all of the New Teacher Trainings
