Patriot Day, observed on September 11, serves as a day of remembrance for those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks of 2001. The occasion also recognizes the bravery of first responders and the strength shown by communities throughout the United States.

Jed Davis, a Republican, was elected to represent Illinois’ 75th House District in 2023, succeeding David Welter.
