Kendall County said "yes" to both referendums on the Nov. 6 ballot.
Kendall County voters approved a referendum in opposition to the creation of a vehicle mileage tax that was proposed by the Chicago Metropolitan Agency.
With 100 percent of the votes counted, 36,304 were in favor of the mileage tax referendum and 7,619 were in favor of nixing it.
Kendall County voters also approved the referendum, "Shall Kendall County oppose the Chicago Federal Reserve's proposal for the creation of a statewide 1% property tax to fund the state's pension programs?"
With 100 percent of the votes counted, 34,621 were in favor of the referendum and 9,297 opposed the referendum.
