Report: Yorkville spent $12,302 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Yorkville Community Unit School District 115 is up 24.7 percent from five years ago, according to a Kendall County Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Kendall County school district spent $9,867 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $12,302 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 5800 to 6146.

Yorkville's spending in 2017-18 was 7.8 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
