Q2 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Kendall County?

There were 14 offenders released on parole during the second quarter that live in Kendall County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Kendall County Times.

The data shows that all of the released offenders in Kendall County were men. The median age of the parolees was 37. The youngest parolee was a 24-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2014, and the oldest was a 58-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2016.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was James Wilson. He was convicted of a sex crime in 2012 when he was 28 years old. He is now 35.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter in each Kendall County municipality.
