Illinois state Rep. David Welter (R-Morris)
Illinois state Rep. David Welter (R-Morris) recently took part in the Illinois Principals Association’s Principal for a Day program, spending a day at Coal City Elementary School where he read to and worked on an art project with students.
According to a press release posted to his website, Welter began his day leading students in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and later visited at least five different classrooms to further interact with students.
Now in his second-term in Springfield after running unopposed in 2018, Welter’s 75th District include all or parts of Grundy, Kendall, LaSalle and Will counties. Prior to arriving in Springfield, Welter served as Chairman of the Grundy County Board.
