1.01 Roll Call
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by President Emily Conquest. Roll call was answered as indicated. 2.01 Students of the Month
Monica Totaro announced the students of the month from Minooka Intermediate School. Jason Finkelstein announced the students of the month from Minooka Junior High School.
2.02 Minooka Junior High 8th Grade Girls’ Volleyball
Coach Coral Berta and students from the 8th Grade Girls Volleyball team were recognized by the Board.
2.03 Minooka Junior High Bowling Teams
Coach Ryan Kabara and students from the Minooka 201 Bowling teams were recognized by the Board.

3. Consent Agenda
Moved by Blount, seconded by Voss to approve the personnel report, list of bills, minutes from the March 21, 2022 regular meeting, treasurer report, destruction of the closed session recordings from April 2019, FOIA requests, Kendall County Land Cash Funds, Technology Equipment Disposal/Recycle as presented.

5. Discussion and Information Item
5.01 Instrumental Instruction Presentation
e Band Directors Catherine Tadey, Brian Goodman, Thomas Neissler and Alexis Sujka shared info regarding the Band Programs in Minooka 201.
5.02 School Improvement Plans
e Dr. Staab went over the school improvement plans with the board.
5.03 Board Updates
e Adam Shainberg & Emily Conquest mentioned the Minooka Junior High Family Night and Aux Sable PTO boosterthon that they attended.
6. COMMUNICATIONS
6.01 Administrative Reports
Dr. Monn reported:
e Final Graduation date is May 24, 2022 and awards night May 11, 2022.
e The Village of Minooka will be doing landscaping along Ridge Road and we will partner with them.
e Congratulations to the Minooka Community for raising over $13,000 for the Team Megan Bugg fundraiser.
e Congratulations to the Aux Sable PTO for raising $27,000 from the Boosterthon.
e Minooka Junior High worker Lara Cogan received a grant from the Chicago Bears Classroom Legends program.
e The district is getting parents back in schools and field trips are starting again. Our District is getting back to normal. Thank you to everyone who has made this happen.
Dr. Staab reported:
e The Multilingual department has joined Troy School District 30-C to have a fair this weekend. Over 30 organizations will be in attendance.
e Updated the board on the Minooka Community Partnership Program which will provide Just over $635,000 over the next two years.
Kathleen Cheshareck reported:
e Social Studies and Science textbook adoptions have been decided. The district will be going with Savvas. Will get quotes on to see what type of deal we can get and will present at the May board meeting.
Rich Searl reported:
e The HVAC project is moving forward at MES.
e The Minooka Primary Center rebuilding playground has started and will be presented at the May board meeting.
e The District Office HVAC project will be starting soon.
e Walnut Trails and Aux Sable new electronic signs will be starting soon.
Aaron Souza reported:
e Shared the district server virtualization project presentation.
e Update on student registration. 44 new students and 650 existing students have registered.

Moved by Shainberg, seconded by Voss to go into closed session to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, and/or dismissal of employees, negotiations, the purchase of real property, confidential student matters, and/or litigation. Motion Carried at 7:55 p.m.
